Version 1.1 | Effective: ⚠ SET data-effective ON <body> BEFORE PUBLICATION
This policy explains which cookies wizemp.com places on your device, why, and how you control them. It applies to all language versions of this website.
When you visit a website, it can place small text files on your device. These files — cookies — let the site recognise your device across pages and sessions. They don't store your name, payment details, or passwords.
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
WizEmp is the data controller for this website — a Power BI and Business Intelligence consultancy based in Thailand, operating under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

This English version is the authoritative text. Where any translated version of this policy conflicts with the English text, the English text governs. All other language versions are provided for convenience only.
We use three categories. Each table states the cookie name, provider, purpose, and duration. The lawful basis under PDPA is noted for each category. This table reflects cookies active as of v1.1. When new features or plugins are added, the list will be updated and a new version published.
These cookies make the site work. They place no personal data in external systems. You cannot switch them off — they are required for the site to function.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Hostinger / PHP | Manages your server session. Required for page requests to work. | Session |
| wordpress_logged_in_* | WordPress | Confirms login status for registered users. Not set for regular visitors. | Session |
| wp-settings-* | WordPress | Stores interface preferences for the WordPress admin area. | 1 year |
| ⚠ [PLUGIN_COOKIE_NAME] | Your consent plugin | Stores your consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every page. Replace [PLUGIN_COOKIE_NAME] with the actual cookie name after installing your WordPress consent plugin (e.g. Complianz, CookieYes, Real Cookie Banner). The authoritative consent record is held server-side — see Section 5. | 1 year |
These cookies measure how visitors use the site. IP addresses are anonymised before transmission to Google. Other session data — device type, browser, and approximate city-level location — is pseudonymised but not fully anonymised. Nothing here is used to identify you personally.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Assigns an anonymous ID to your browser to distinguish visitors across sessions. | 2 years |
| ⚠ _ga_[PROPERTY_ID] | Google Analytics 4 | Tracks session state for this GA4 property. Replace [PROPERTY_ID] with your GA4 measurement ID at launch (e.g. _ga_ABC123XYZ). | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes users within a 24-hour window. | 24 hours |
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC (USA) under appropriate safeguards and contractual protections as required by PDPA Section 28. Raw event data is retained in Google's systems for up to 14 months as configured in WizEmp's GA4 property settings. We do not share data with Google for advertising.
These cookies measure the reach of content we publish on LinkedIn. They are used for attribution only — not to serve ads to you.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| li_fat_id | LinkedIn Insight Tag | Cross-device tracking for campaign attribution. | 30 days |
| UserMatchHistory | LinkedIn Insight Tag | Links site visitors to LinkedIn profiles for aggregate audience analytics. | 30 days |
| AnalyticsSyncHistory | LinkedIn Insight Tag | Records the timestamp of the last data sync to LinkedIn. | 30 days |
| bcookie | Browser ID used by LinkedIn for fraud prevention. | 1 year | |
| bscookie | Secure browser ID for LinkedIn features. | 1 year | |
| lidc | Routes requests to the correct LinkedIn data centre. | 24 hours |
LinkedIn data is processed by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company under appropriate safeguards and contractual protections as required by PDPA Section 28. See LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
No analytics or marketing cookies fire before you make your choice. Strictly necessary cookies activate when the page loads.
When you give consent, WizEmp records the following in our database:
This record is retained for 3 years to satisfy our PDPA accountability obligation, then deleted. The client-side consent cookie lasts 1 year — these are two separate records serving different purposes.
Consent expires after 12 months. When it expires, a scheduled job marks the record inactive and the banner reappears on your next visit. We instruct your browser to delete our analytics and marketing cookies and stop all third-party tracking scripts. Note: third-party cookies (Google, LinkedIn) can also be removed directly via your browser settings or the provider opt-out links in Section 6.
If you withdraw consent before expiry, we record the withdrawal date, trigger immediate deletion of our tracking cookies, and deactivate the relevant server-side record.
Accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Change your choice at any time via Cookie Preferences in the site footer. Changes take effect immediately.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break site functionality.
Thailand's PDPA B.E. 2562 gives you the following rights over your personal data:
Send requests to dpo@wizemp.com. We respond without unnecessary delay. If additional time is needed, we will notify you before the initial deadline.
You may lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) at www.pdpc.or.th.
This website is governed by Thai law. If you have any questions or requests regarding your personal data, contact us at dpo@wizemp.com.
Analytics and marketing cookies transfer data outside Thailand only when you consent. These transfers are made under appropriate safeguards and contractual protections as required by PDPA Section 28 for cross-border data transfers.
Some pages display embedded Power BI reports served by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft places session cookies from the domains app.powerbi.com and, where reports require authentication, login.microsoftonline.com. These cookies are technically necessary to render and interact with the report — they do not require separate consent. They are governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement. WizEmp receives no personal data from these cookies.
When our cookie use changes, we publish a new version here and update the changelog below. Material changes trigger the consent banner on your next visit. Previous versions are held in /Website/archive/ and available on request at dpo@wizemp.com.
