Function · Executive & Strategy

So what. Now what.
Nothing else.

Built for the role that does not explore data. For CEOs, MDs, Regional Directors, and Business Unit Heads who need conclusions and the recommended action, not navigation training. The Executive HUD is read in 90 seconds, not 20 minutes.

We Speak Your Language

You do not need a report. You need a decision support layer.

Executives do not explore data. They receive conclusions with recommendations. The biggest single frustration in executive BI is receiving numbers without interpretation. Five tabs of charts and no headline. A pivot table where a verdict is needed.

The Executive HUD is the answer to a different question than the operational report. It does not ask what is happening. It tells you what is happening, what it means, and what action is recommended. The drill-down exists for the moment you want to test the conclusion. Most days you will not need it.

The discipline is editorial, not technical. Every tile on the HUD earns its place. If it is not connected to a decision an executive will make in the next quarter, it is removed. The HUD shrinks before it grows.

How Wit Interviews You

Wit's executive interview sets the frame for everything that follows.

The Executive Sponsor interview is the first and most important Wit conversation in any engagement. It is supervised by a WizEmp facilitator, 20 to 30 minutes, and designed to surface genuine strategic intent. If the real concern is not named here, the entire discovery optimises for the wrong problem.

Executives respond to strategic framing, not feature lists. Wit does not ask what charts you want. Wit asks what single decision in the next 12 months would change if you had better data. Wit asks what success looks like in two years and what specifically would be different. Wit asks who in the organisation is most likely to resist this initiative and why.

The interview is not about preferences. It is about commitment. The risk-surfacing question is the diagnostic: "What could go wrong with this initiative that nobody is talking about?" The answer tells WizEmp whether the executive has thought through the change or only signed the budget.

The output is the Executive section of the Shield of Truth: the strategic intent, the success definition, the committed sponsorship behaviour, and the political map of who must be brought along. Every subsequent design decision references this document.

What Your Reports Look Like

The Executive HUD: one screen, the headline, the trend, the verdict.

The HUD is the navigation hub. From the HUD an executive reaches every report at the Overview level in one click. The Overview itself is designed to deliver the verdict before the drill-down is needed. If the executive opens the HUD, sees the headline, and closes the laptop, the design has worked.
